4x4 course

Back in 2019 when we bought our first Toyota Fortuner 4x4 we were given a 4x4 course with our purchase. Timothy and I had loads of laughs as we maneuvered around the course.

We were thrown in the deep end on the Namibian dunes back in 2018 where with the help of the instructors we tackled towering dunes and steep declines. Perched on the edge of a dune, through walkie talkies, we were given tips on how to survive the descent. With shaking legs and sweaty brows, we launched ourselves over the precipice.

If we got stuck in the sand, they talked us through our predicament with calmness and deep knowledge.

On this course in 2019 we learnt the ability of our car, what equipment we needed and how to get ourselves out of difficult situations.

Loads of fun and many lessons learnt.
